Doosan’s construction equipment unit falls within the Doosan Infracore subsidiary, a global company belonging to the Infrastructure Support Business division of the South Korea-based multinational conglomerate Doosan Corporation.

Among the construction equipment that Doosan produces are skid steer and wheel loaders, excavators, articulated dump trucks, air compressors, attachments, engine power systems, and compact construction equipment. Attachments made by Doosan include breakers, buckets, clamps, grapples, plate compactors, couplers, and wedge lock couplers and clamps.

Founded in 1896 as the Park Seung Jik Store in Seoul, Korea, Doosan eventually created a construction equipment division in 1977 and shipped its first excavator in 1978. In 2005, Doosan acquired construction machinery manufacturer Daewoo Heavy Industries & Machinery, which later became Doosan Infracore.
