Hoist & Lift Options

Some roll-off trailers have an electric or hydraulic winch to hoist the roll-off container onto a tilting bed, while others utilize a hooklift mechanism driven by hydraulic cylinders. The hooklift is an articulated arm that connects to a lift bar on the container’s frame, and the hydraulic system lifts the container onto the trailer. Both hoist and lift roll-off trailers are equipped with locking mechanisms that prevent a loaded container from moving forward, backward, or side to side during transport.
