About Schmitz Cargobull

Founded in 1892 by Franz Heinrich Schmitz, the Horstmar-based company Schmitz Cargobull has more than a century worth of experience manufacturing trailers. Its first semitrailers were sold in 1935, and today the company offers a full range of trailers and supporting services, manufacturing more than 50,000 trailers per year.

New and used reefer trailers are a specialty of Schmitz Cargobull. Refrigerated units are available in multiple forms, including as semi-trailers, box semi-trailers with a folding wall, swap boxes, and lorries.
