JCB Displays Fastrac, Loadall, Teleskid & Other Ag Equipment At 2018 North American Manure Expo
JCB, a leading global manufacturer of agriculture and construction equipment, recently exhibited numerous models from its agriculture equipment lineup at the 2018 North American Manure Expo. Held in mid-August in Brookings, South Dakota, the tradeshow is geared toward the nutrient management industry. In addition to its Fastrac 8330 tractor, JCB exhibited Loadall Agri telescopic handlers, TM model articulated telescopic handlers, 427 Agri wheel loaders, and the 3TS-8W Teleskid skid steer loader. JCB also produces forklifts, generators, and compact track loaders for farm operations.
Handling Business
Among the JCB products at the expo was the TM420 articulated telescopic handler, which the company plans to launch very soon. With three telescopic handlers on display overall at the expo, JCB claims it has sold 222,000 Loadall telehandlers, noting that “telehandler output today is at its highest level ever as more primary producers realize the value of using telehandlers in place of tractor-mounted hydraulic loaders for stacking bales, shoveling grain, and general materials around the farm.”
In addition to exhibiting the 3TS08W Teleskid skid steer loader, JCB staged a “Win a Teleskid” sweepstakes for a 12-month lease on a new JCB Teleskid compact track loader. Ray Bingley, general manager of JCB Agriculture in North America, said the expo is an opportunity for dairy, livestock, and poultry producers and other ag professionals to see JCB’s latest farm-oriented bulk-material handling equipment.
On The FastTrac
The Fastrac 8330 JCB display is billed as its most productive Fastrac ever. Supporting road speeds reaching roughly 43.5 mph (70 km/h), the 8330 includes a twin-turbo engine that provides a maximum 348 horsepower. Maximum torque is rated at 1,062 pounds-foot (1440 newton meters). The tractor features new JCB Rapid Steer, JCB Activ Traction, and JCB Hill Hold technologies and the Command Plus cab and new hydrostatic dual steering system.
