Canadian Used Farm Equipment Market Tightens In April
Sandhills Global’s newest market reports cover April data for used farm equipment on MarketBook.ca and other Sandhills platforms. Tractors 300 horsepower and greater had the largest month-over-month inventory decline at 5.1%, while the greatest year-over-year change was tractors 100 to 174 hp, which were down 20.9%.
With lower inventory levels, auction and asking values rose. Auction values for tractors 300 hp and greater were up 3.2% M/M and 8% Y/Y. Asking prices for the category increased 2.1% M/M and 4.6% Y/Y. Tractors 175 to 299 hp had a 3.2% M/M increase in auction values and a 0.7% increase in asking prices in April.
