New Case IH Precision Air 5 Series Carts Feature Individual Tank Weigh Scales & Curve Compensation
“Do more in less time” is a popular mantra among Case IH customers. The company’s new air carts for model year 2021, the Precision Air 3725 and Precision Air 3915, are built to meet growers’ efficiency goals with features that save operators time, improve planting accuracy, and simplify logistics.
Smarter Tank Weigh Scales
Tank weigh scales on the Model Year 2021 air carts allow operators to monitor seed and fertilizer levels in each tank—from either an AFS Pro 700 or cart-side display. “The new weigh scale features save operators valuable time and help ensure accurate application,” says Trent Nowosad, Case IH marketing manager for seeding equipment. “The ability to instantaneously see this information from the cab offers peace of mind.” The display will also indicate how many acres the operator can cover before the tank is empty.
Ahead Of The Curve
With curve compensation technology, the Precision Air 3725 and Precision Air 3915 can improve plant population across the drill in tight turns and corners. Case IH’s AFS AccuSection modular metering system controls each meter independently, allowing each section to apply the correct amount of product as operators speed up or slow down through a turn. The end result is more uniform application, improved accuracy, and better efficiency.
Precision Air Cart Details
The Precision Air 3725 and Precision Air 3915 feature three-tank air cart configurations and are tow-behind models. Case IH says the air carts are ideal for fertilizer application or broad-acre seeding, and represent the largest three-tank configurations in Precision Air lineup. The Precision Air 3725 offers a 725-bushel capacity, while the 3915’s capacity is 915 bushels.
