Case IH Shows New Farmall CL Series Orchard Tractors, New Farmall Options At World Ag Expo
Case IH introduced new tractor models and optional features for specialty crop producers at the World Ag Expo, held February 13 to 15, 2024 in Tulare, California. Among the new products are Farmall CL Series orchard tractors, runtime and stability upgrades for Farmall A utility tractors, and a new high-capacity, 3-point hitch for the rear of the Farmall 140A Pro tractor.
Farmall CL Series Tractors
Case IH designed its new Farmall CL tractors with a wider rear axle for better stability on hills and slopes, without being so broad as to endanger crops or degrade the compact tractors’ ability to navigate through orchards. Hydraulic pump and adaptable transmission options for the CL series allow farmers to put the tractors’ versatility to work in a variety of applications.
“Operators spend all day in these machines. We are continuously looking for ways to make them even more comfortable, and more capable of ensuring peak productivity in any operation,” says Teri Zanella, Farmall product manager at Case IH. “We want to provide equipment that protects against loss and increases efficiencies in the operation.”
Farmall A Upgrade Options
Case IH also highlighted several new options for its Farmall A utility tractors, including a ride-smoothing front ballast upgrade and a fuel tank large enough for 8 to 12 hours of operation before refueling. Other available features include tire options, three rear hydraulic remotes with flow control, and component guards for protection from branches, limbs, and tree nuts.
