Snorkel Launches Two New Telehandlers At World Of Concrete 2019
Coinciding with the company’s 60th anniversary, Snorkel announced the release of two new telehandlers, the SR9244 and SR1054, at World Of Concrete 2019. Both models are designed to operate on rough terrain and have several features in common with the SR5719, which Snorkel released in January 2018, such as a Deutz TLD 3.6-liter Tier 4 Final engine that produces 100 horsepower, four-wheel drive with foam-filled tires, and power steering.
The enclosed cab features heating and air conditioning, an adjustable suspension seat, and other operator comforts. The new SR9244 and SR1054 have hydraulic attachment quick disconnect, making them easily customizable for a wide range of applications.

The Snorkel SR9244 weighs 24,581 pounds (11,150 kilograms) and has a maximum lift capacity of 9,260 pounds (4,200 kilograms), lift height of 44.3 feet (13.5 meters), and forward reach of 31.2 feet (9.5 meters). The SR1054 weighs 26,852 pounds (12,180 kilograms) and has a maximum lift capacity of 10,000 pounds (4,535 kilograms), lift height of 53.75 feet (16.4 meters), and forward reach of 41.3 feet (12.6 meters). They both share the same width of 7.5 feet (2.3 meters) and stowed height of 8.42 feet (2.56 meters). Built for construction or for use as part of a rental fleet, the SR9244 and SR1054 are covered by five-year structural and two-year parts and labor warranties.
