JCB Highlights New & Upcoming Machines At The Rental Show
Construction equipment manufacturer JCB is exhibiting a variety of equipment at the American Rental Association's Rental Show 2019. The show is taking place in Anaheim, California, February 17 to 20.
“At the ARA show, rental professionals will learn more about the range of JCB machines that are currently enabling profitable rental operations, and they’ll have the chance to preview machines that will drive rental demand and profitable growth in the future,” says JCB’s president of Direct Sales and Product for North America, Steve Fox.
New Loadall Telehandler
The show will be the first appearance for JCB’s big 512-56 Loadall telescopic forklift. The company says that it’s the world’s first 12,000-pound (5,443-kilogram) telehandler that doesn’t require any engine aftertreatment, including DPF (diesel particulate filter) or DEF (diesel exhaust fluid).
The 512-56 is drivable with a low-effort servo joystick. It’s powered by a 74-horsepower (55.2-kilowatt) JCB EcoMAX engine.
Upcoming Machines
JCB is also giving a preview of a compact backhoe loader and an all-day electric mini excavator not yet on the North American market.
“When the 1CXT backhoe loader and 19C-1 electric mini excavator are launched in coming months, they’ll continue the success rental operators have had with JCB innovations such as the 512-56 telehandler and the Teleskid skid steer and compact track loader,” Fox says.
Current Models
Finally, JCB is also showcasing existing models such as the 505-20TC Loadall telehandler, the 3CX backhoe loader, the 3TS-8T Teleskid compact track loader, the 215T compact track loader, and the S1930E electric scissor lift.
