Snorkel’s Rough-Terrain Lift Equipment Showcased At World Of Concrete & Ready For Tough Jobsite Conditions

With features like four-wheel drive, power-assisted steering, and all-steel construction, Snorkel’s latest rough-terrain lifts are a good fit for concrete contractors, which is why the company has brought a big selection of its rough-terrain lifting equipment to World of Concrete 2020.

Rough-Terrain Telehandlers

Although not new, Snorkel’s SR5719 (launched at World of Concrete in 2018), SR9244 (launched at the show in 2019) and SR1054 (also launched at the show last year) are all onsite for the 2020 show. The models highlight many of the best features found on Snorkel’s rough-terrain telehandlers, such as the aforementioned four-wheel drive and power-assisted steering. These models also boast a fully enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning.

Compact Rough-Terrain Scissor Lift

Also on display is Snorkel’s S2755RT, an ultra-narrow compact rough-terrain scissor lift with four-wheel drive. The S2755RT measures just 4 feet, 9 inches (1.45 meters) wide and can reach a working height of 33ft 1in (10 m). Despite the narrow dimensions, the platform offers a capacity of 660 pounds (272 kilograms) and weighs just 6,835 lbs (3,100 kg). World of Concrete attendees can also view the Snorkel S3970BE, the largest compact rough-terrain scissor lift in the Snorkel family, which reaches a working height of up to 45 ft (13.7 m).

The Best Of The Rest

Visitors to the Snorkel booth (#O30099 in the outdoor Silver Lot) will be able to see models in Snorkel’s rough-terrain boom lift families. Notable options include the Snorkel 460SJ telescopic boom (able to tackle gradients of up to 50%) and the Snorkel AB60J articulated boom lift (boasting a 6 ft jib boom with a 75-degree working arc).
