The new Sandhills Global market report covering May data for used heavy-duty construction equipment on MarketBook.ca and other Sandhills platforms shows inventory levels trending upward and mixed value trends.
Inventory levels rose 0.67% month over month and 8.13% year over year in May. The used wheel loader category showed the largest increases, with inventory up 4.3% M/M and 14.6% YOY. Asking prices were on a sideways trend in May while auction values were trending up, led by increases in the used crawler excavator category.
