The new Sandhills Global market report covering December data for used Canadian heavy-duty construction equipment on MarketBook.ca and other Sandhills platforms shows downward trends in inventory levels, asking prices, and auction values.
Inventory levels in this market dropped 5.38% month over month in December, driven by declines in the used wheel loader category, and were down 2.54% compared to year-ago totals, driven by decreases in used crawler excavator inventory.
Asking prices were also down in December, both M/M and YOY. Auction values, by contrast, fell 3.88% M/M but were up 1.88% YOY. Watch our video for more information about these and other trends in the Canadian used heavy-duty construction equipment market.
