Canadian Used Tractor Markets Show Mixed Inventory Movements

Sandhills Global’s newest market reports cover February data for used farm equipment on MarketBook.ca and other Sandhills platforms. Month-over-month inventory changes were modest overall, with the largest shift occurring in the used 175- to 299-horsepower tractor segment, which rose 2.9%. Year-over-year movements were more substantial, led by a 15% decline in 100- to 174-HP tractor inventory.
Auction values showed mixed movement across all categories. The largest M/M shift was witnessed in the 100- to 174-HP tractor segment, down 2.7%, while combines posted the most notable YOY change, up 11.3%. Combines also recorded the biggest shifts in asking values, down 1.5% M/M and up 5.2% YOY.
