Thor Motor Coach Takes Off-Road Enthusiasts On An Adventure With 2024 Palladium Camper Van

With peak travel months inching ever closer, Thor Motor Coach showcased its compact 2024 Palladium Class B camper van to attendees at this year’s Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa.

The Palladium comes in 1910 and 1920 floor plans that are both 19.7 feet (6 meters) long. Thanks to its all-wheel-drive capability and 16-inch (40.6-centimeter) blacked-out alloy wheels shod in 30.5-inch (77.5-cm) Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse All-Terrain tires, the Palladium is an excellent option for adventurers looking to go off the beaten path.

Thor Palladium Key Facts

Both Palladium models can sleep one or two people. The 1910 has an expanding sleeper sofa and a swivel table. The 1920 floor plan has a 51- by 74-in. (130- by 188-cm) bed and a removable table. You and your companion will sit in comfortable leatherette swivel captain’s chairs while driving. Thor includes blind-spot, side-, and reverse-sensing systems to help maneuver safely around campgrounds and adaptive cruise control for interstate and highway driving.

Thor builds the Palladium on a Ford Transit Trail chassis with a 148-in. (3,759-millimeter) wheelbase. The RV has a 3,500-pound (1,588-kilogram) trailer hitch, and mountain bikers can add a bike rack on the rear door. Three exterior colors are available: Oxford White, Carbonized Gray, and Avalanche Grey.

A Kitchen On The Go

The Palladium has all you need to prep, cook, and eat meals inside the van. Upper and lower cabinets hold pots, pans, food, and other supplies, and the kitchen has a single-door electric refrigerator, a single-burner induction cooktop, a microwave, a faucet, plentiful countertop space, and a fold-out table. Thor Motor Coach even covers the floor with vinyl for easy clean-ups.

After meals, you can leverage the Winegard ConnecT 2.0 4G/Wi-Fi/digital TV antenna to watch movies on the 24-in. TV in the 1910’s bedroom or the 22-in. TV in the living room. The camper van’s electronics station has HDMI cables and USB charging ports for your devices.

Solar Power At The Ready

The Palladium includes a 200-watt solar system with a 12-volt exterior connection and a 400-Ah lithium battery kit. You can upgrade to a beefier Re(Li)able Power Pack electrical system with four 1,260-Wh lithium batteries. Thor Motor Coach provides a 3,000-W pure sine inverter to power appliances, devices, and more, and a 170-amp charging alternator that converts engine power to energy.
