Airstream recently introduced the Trade Wind 23FB, a travel trailer designed to take your off-grid adventures to the next level. An update to the Trade Wind line, the 2025 model year 23FB combines robust power capabilities with exceptional comfort.

Ready For Frontier Adventures

The Airstream Trade Wind 23FB is built for serious off-grid excursions. It packs an impressive punch with three chassis-integrated 270-Ampere-hour heated Lithium Battle Born batteries, creating a powerful 810Ah battery bank—more than quadruple the capacity of most other Airstream models. The 3,000-watt combined inverter and charger can power the convection microwave, and the 13,500 BTU air conditioner directly from the battery, so you can camp without relying on shore power.

With 500W of solar power from roof-mounted panels and an optional composting toilet to save water, this model is ideal for extended off-grid trips. Its rugged build includes a standard 3-inch suspension lift kit, rugged tires, front rock guards, and solar window shields to enhance its off-road capabilities.

Inside the Trade Wind 23FB, you’ll find comfort and convenience tailored for the road. Choose between a queen or twin bed setup and enjoy the versatility of a convertible dinette that adds 20 square feet (1.86 square meters) of sleeping space for guests. The recirculating water heater helps conserve water by reducing waste.

The trailer’s kitchen includes a 3-burner stove and convection microwave oven. There are two Smart TVs with Bluetooth, a 27-inch model in the galley/dinette/lounge area and a 24-inch model in the bedroom.
